We all love an easy drink, but if you ask us, this Paloma cocktail is worth the trouble! Made with freshly pressed grapefruit, lime and agave syrup, it is sweet, sour and refreshing.
This Cocktail is a little more complicated than ours easy Paloma recipe with purchased grapefruit soda. Your Guests If you're looking for a fun way to start the weekend, we hope you'll give it a try – it's usually a hit with our friends!
A traditional Paloma cocktail consists of tequila, grapefruit soda and glue for adjustment. This recipe is a fresher version. Since we use fresh lime and grapefruit juice combined with agave syrup to balance the sour and bitter in grapefruit and lime. Finally, we add sparkling water to dilute and add bubbles. That way you make a Paloma with homemade grapefruit soda and it tastes amazing.
Salt – For the rim of your glass! We like to use coarse sea salt as it looks good in pictures, but other salt would work as well.
Choice of Tequila
We would always recommend using Blanco Tequila and of course 100% agave. We like Altos Plata Tequila, but feel free to use your favorite!
