This is how the recipe for the modern classic Tommy's Margarita originated, which was created by Julio Bermejo in the early 90s at Tommy's Mexican Restaurant in San Francisco. It is now served all over the world, as countless restaurants and bartenders have copied the idea from Bermejo, to achieve a lighter and fresher version of a Margarita.

There aren't many drinks that say summer party like Tommy's Margarita. This version, which originated in San Francisco, is easy to make and tastes like fresh, tangy homemade lemonade served over ice. It's perfect for getting the party started or just enjoying the sun on a hot summer day.

  • 5cl Altos Plata Tequila Blanco
  • 3cl freshly pressed limejuice
  • 1cl agave syrup
  • Lots of icedice
  • Garnish with one limeslice
