Jalisco Espresso Martini is a very popular drink in Denmark, so of course we would also like to play with it and offer a recipe with it Tequila. We have chosen to use Tequila Reposado, as there is usually more flavor and fullness in this variant, due to barrel ageing. That is precisely why they compliment bitters coffeenote this tequila really well.
A relatively simple cocktail with only four ingredients. However, the trick is that you can figure out the shake so that you get a delicious drink with airy foam on top.
The most satisfying part of an Espresso Martini is the foam. To ensure this, make sure to shake the shaker hard, as the natural oils in the coffee must combine with the rest of the liquid and thereby create the air bubbles. In the video, we double strain the cocktail, as this gives a uniform foam and possibly small ice flakes are sorted out.
